Summer Collection - Penstemon Cobae (Beardtongues)
This beautiful piece was traditionally pressed in a wood press. The colour of the flower is its natural colour that has been formed during the pressing process.
To enhance the beauty of these greatly pressed beardtongues, I have framed them in a vintage style wood frame covered in a glass.
I always use a very small amount of non toxic water based glue to stick the flowers to the crafting paper.
